Crossover
September 13th, 2007
Crossover is a new brand already getting lots of attention in the right places, being seen on people like Jay-Z - now you dont get any bigger than that. The brand is founded by a good friend of mine - Magdi (Owner of Slammin Kicks) Big in the game. On a side note, Mags has played a MAJOR part in helping me to get my brand out there (ie stocking T.Magic) and also has introduced me to a lot of the movers and shakers in the industry so Big Up to you Sir.
You can get the first Crossover ‘Know (Y)our Logo’ tee at Slamminkicks in London this Saturday.

T.Magic Quote Of The Week pt.22

“Life is not easy for most of us. We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something, and that this thing, at whatever cost, must be attained.”

The Good Life

Once again Kanye delivers the goods. Love the greyscaled foreground mixed with the bright colors. Reminds me of my work. Its something I’ve never seen in a Rap video before. Great video. Thanks to my boy Par for this. Remember where you saw it first.
P.s. NO MORE KANYE POSTS for now. Lol

RAW VIDEO: Kanye West’s Backstage Meltdown!
September 12th, 2007
Im normally on Kanyes side but this time I’m going against it. Once again I feel his passion to the Nth degree but as a TRUE ARTIST personally I don’t think he should be bothered about winning awards. He has won the heart and soul of the people and thats all that should matter. He should understand that the media plays off of things like this. Viacom, who owns MTV know that if they did not give him an award they would get a reaction out of him. Just like they did.
I understand that everybody likes winning awards. It creates glamour and glamour creates income.
Im not saying all awards but the majority if not all of these big coroprate award shows are judged in committee by consensus of what is known (ie IN FASHION).
But genius and originality can’t be fashionable, because it hasn’t yet had the approval of the committee.
I know in my heart that I never ever have to win any big coroprate award. The heart felt personal messages that I get on a day-to-day basis is my award, BY THE PEOPLE.

Okay peeps, The Album of the Year has finally dropped. Yes, that long awaited Kanyeezeeee is now hear. Just got back to the lab on my return from HMV. Yes I’ma fan, I bought his album five times like I said. I’m not even gonna to start about how great the album is. All I can say is that it’s one of the best investments I’ve made this year. May I also say that the Artwork for the album is astonishing. Takashi Murakami really nailed it with the artwork. His use of color and animated story telling is incredible. The album is a masterpiece.

T.MAGIC - Seven Laws of Motivation
September 6th, 2007

1. Assign a major goal, but follow a path.
Break down a major goal into a path of smaller goals. As you achieve these smaller, more manageable goals, you will be naturally advancing along the path to your major goal.
2. Always finish what you start.
A half finished task is of no use to anyone. Quitting is a natural habit. You need to develop the habit of finishing self-assigned tasks.
3. Learn how to learn.
We all have the ability to learn without instruction. When you learn the art of self-education, you will create opportunity to find success beyond your wildest dreams.
4. Socialize with others of similar interest.
Mutual support is motivating. You will develop the attitudes of the people closest to you. If they are losers, its more than likely you will be a loser. If they are winners, you will be a winner.
5. Harmonize your natural talent with interest that motivate you.
Natural talent creates motivation, motivation creates persistence and persistence gets the task completed.
6. Increase your knowledge of subjects that inspire you.
The more you know about a subject, the more you want to learn about it. A self- propelled upward spiral starts to develop.
7. Take Risks.
Failure and bouncing back are elements of motivation. Failure is a learning tool. No one on this earth has ever succeeded at anythinh worth while without failing first.

T.Magic Motivation 101
September 4th, 2007

Motivation begins with a dream, vision, need and the desire to achieve the seemingly impossible. It also starts with the desire to be free, freedom to live the lifestyle we dream of, freedom to explore our ideas. The struggle to achieve freedom is the basis for motivation.
Over the next few days I will a run down on the T.Magic: Seven Laws of Motivation. Hopefully this should help get you through your everyday struggle and help to build that platform for success. Mind Elevation.
