Marcus Troy x Nike Bespoke Air Force 1 ($820)

Blogger Marcus Troy recently took a visit to Nike’s 21 Mercer space in New York City to create his own one of one Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke. The shoe took a few weeks to complete as it was constructed using a number of different materials including kevlar, waterproof denim, suede, leather, and Loopwheeler cotton lining. The shoe features a black, grey, and turquoise colourway. These are one of the best AF1’s I’ve seen in a minute. Think it’s time for me to head over to the States!

A Glitch In The Matrix

There have been major issues printing the new design as my printers cannot get the correct plates in time for the release. Due to the artwork being time sensitive I’ll have to hold back on the this release. Sorry to disappoint those who were really looking forward to this. I’ll make up for it with some very special releases. This year I’ll be stepping things up a notch so consider yourself warned! Stay tuned for Ice-Cream Glow-In-The-Dark coming later THIS week.

Brief: Cesviamo (www.cesviamo.org) is an italian social network created by Cesvi, a non-profit cooperation and development organization of social utility. The basic idea of the network is very simple: you can make a bet envolving all your friends in order to raise money for social issues.
In this case, we had 3 goals: to increase the awareness of the website, to explain how the social network works turning fundraising into “funraising”, and to make people - and above all students - more conscious about AIDS, an actual and vivid issue.
Idea: So we’ve launched the biggest bet ever: the “Condom Mob” - 100 young person in a condom against AIDS!
