Make It Rain

Julius Popp (German, b.1973) uses controlled drips of water to create a waterfall of words and images. A horizontal module with computer-controlled valves hung from the ceiling releases droplets at precise times to form predetermined shapes. The result is a word of message that seems to magically rain down from the ceiling and then disappear upon impact with the floor. Popp describes bit.fall as a "metaphor for the incessant flood of information we are exposed to."
I think this is sooooooooooooooooo genius and wish I had thought of the idea. Definately gonna have to step my game up! Check the vid below, It's INSANE.

Official video for Kanye's fourth single off Graduation
So, many people have been askin me what I make of this new Kanye video; yes like you guys I do think it's a little weird… but weird doesn’t mean bad. I’ve heard its part one of a three part series and it reminds me of a scene out of the movie Casino with Joe Pesci and Robert Di Niro. It also kind of looks like a continuation of the ‘Cant Tell Me Nothing’ video. I guess we’ll have to wait for part two and three to see what we really make of it.

The Macbook Air is Apple's newest laptop which is super duper thin, probably the thinest laptops ever made. The Macbook Air which sports a 13.3 inch screen and is .16 inches thick at the top and .76 inches thick at the bottom. Weighing in at only 3 pounds, this baby has an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor (1.6 or 1.8Ghz), 2GB Ram standard, a SSD 64GB or standard 80GB Hard drive, a multitouch trackpad with gestures like pan, zoom, rotate, and also has a full back lit keyboard. For the thinnest laptop ever made, the price is amazingly only $1,799 on the Mac site. I think it's finally time for that upgrade.

Success Is My Destiny - PLATINUM EDITION AF1’s

The good folks at Nike iD invited me down to their Studios to design some complimentary AF1’s. I designed them to match the ‘Success Is My Destiny’ release. These are special one of ones. Non-before it, none to come. The picture on the computer screen isn’t the best so I’ll give you an explanation. I hit them with the Black patent leather accompanied by the Metallic Silver swoosh and tongue. The ‘Platinum Editions.’ There are more colorways I designed but I’m holding back – for now. DEPARTURES

What's good people. Ahhhhh man. My internet has been down all day today. It felt like someone stole part of my freedom for a minute. I guess thats the major affect the net has on our lives in this part of the World.
Anyway, this post is about a new magazine that I was featured in (December last year) called Departures - published by The Lounge Group. They touch on youth trends, marketing and brands of the future (Arrivals: this is the section where I come in) :)
They did a really good piece on T.Magic so check it out. Unfortunately the publication is not sold in stores. It's given to most design agencies which is a good look. Let these people know that you don't have to do things the conventional way to get on. Also google 'Beyond Disruction - changing the rules in the marketplace' by Jean-Marie Dru. Great book.

When I first heard this song I wasn't feeling it. It took a minute to grow on me. I love the simplicity of the video. I found it quite funny aswell. The kids actually look like them. This piece was directed by VA$HTIE for the song Us Placers off Kanyes mixtape Cant Tell Me Nothing, using child versions of each artist. appearances by: Jamie, Plain Pat, Stephen SB WEAR Barr and Ruffy. The video was shot for the love of the song on zero budget! DOPE
