Daydreaming Pt.1
May 11th, 2007

Fuck me. I had to post this immediately. A new mag called Daydream had their launch at the m&c Saatchi gallery in Soho. No word of a lie, it was the best fucking show that I’ve attended in London. Hugo and his team did an amazing job in setting up this event. It had the right crowd, vibes, and music and of cause represented over 70 creative brains from across the global network.
Daydream magazine is rapidly taking over the globe in order to showcase raw talent. Success is not their destiny because they are already there. WHAT AN INSPIRATION
BIG UP TO DAYDREAM MAG (HUGO TOLAND & AVUE DARIEN-GORDON)

Soho Exhibition
May 1st, 2007

Last week, as I was strolling on my way to Slammin Kicks I stumbled upon a very interesting store front. A man wrapped in a black bin bag. I was very much intrigued, which left me no other option than to walk into the store. As I walked in there were random pieces of Art exhibited in an unusaual and informal way. The store looked empty so I shouted "HELLOOOOO" and a head pops out of the corner. I then proceeded to ask questions about the exhibition and the philosophy behind it. The guy didnt give me much info which I thought was strange(but didnt know if it was intentional), so I was left to my own interpretation. On the right of me were grungy stairs and above it had a neon light that displayed 'The Dungeon' that had an arrow pointing downwards. BOOOOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY what more can I say. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
MHI & RockersNYC Party
April 30th, 2007

Went to a reception @ MHI store, soho. I met quite a few people that I hadn't seen in a while. The Amsterdam crew were there (Patta) and I also got a chance to catch up with a good friend from Wieden and Kennedy (Amsterdam). When I first got there I had some japanese guy asking to take pictures of what I was wearing(T.Magic Hope Tee), for a Japanese mag called Boon. Its funny cause im a big fan of their magazine. I felt like a star for about 10 seconds. I managed to get some pics of the event. Enjoy
Got £100, 000.00 To Spare

Graffiti artist Bansky had an exhibition last month at the Andipa Gallery in Knightbridge. Went down there to get some inspiration and boy was I inspired. I admire the way he has marketed himself as an artist and also the way his work exudes anti war, anti capitalist and anti establishment sentiment. His political and personal wit have gained him huge recognition. His works recently commanding prices in excess of 100,000 GBP. Crazzzzzzzzy. More pics after the jump.
Bread And Butter Pt.2
April 11th, 2007

Went to the Dave White/Nike/TrustNobody Exhibition. Dave White is one of my inspirations and I finially got the chance to meet him. He was really humble and cool, which I admire. Pics after the jump.
