T.Magic: Recession-Inspired Art
If you think the current economic crisis is a bad time for artists and
their collectors, then think again. One of the UK’s most prolific,
street artist/entrepreneur T.Magic, is set to release a new collection
of recession-inspired artworks entitled ‘Desktop Collectibles.’
T.Magic, inspired by Andy Warhol’s ethos of accessible art, has
created his first set of nine miniature canvases which each have
depictions of his dark social commentary/affirmations such as ‘Pain Is
My Glory,’ ‘Success Is My Destiny’ along his most famous ‘Art Is My
Hustle’. Says he: “The concept behind the Desktop Collectibles is all
about creating accessible art and rethinking of your personal desktop
space as your gallery.”
Each painstaking canvas (4×4 inch), supported with an easel, is
meticulously hand-crafted to perfection and took the artist 50 days to
individually create the collection. Each mantra will be released in
limited quantities of only 50 pieces worldwide and sold for £50
exclusively through his site www.artismyhustle.com
