Shepard Fairey at Stolen Space

Went down to the Shepard Fairey's Nineteeneightyfouria at London's StolenSpace Gallery (Old Truman Brewery, 91 Brick Lane). The title is a reference to the surveillance culture in George Orwell's book 1984. The show is Fairey's largest exhibition to date, and it runs from November 2nd-25th. Arch manipulator, scoundrel, chief propagandist, provocateur, Shepard Fairey is the man many hail as the originator of the modern urban art scene and is an undeniable phenomenon. First coming to prominence in 1989 with his now ubitiquous 'Obey Giant' sticker campaign, the self styled phenomenologist has since gone on to become one of the most recognisable artists of the early 2000's. Jay-Z - Roc Boys (And The Winner Is)

Jay-Z (one of my favorite MC's) is back with the second single for his lastest release 'American Gangster'. I must say the album is amazing apart from two songs (in my personal opinion). Its interesting the way he defines a Gangster. The intro to the album states "Your gangster is not defined by how low your jeans fall by your waist, but more how your genes stand over his expectations, never forget where you came from... Gangsterment allows you to make up your own laws and create brand new words..." For me that's pure genius.

Where Was T.Magic?

Wats up peeps. Had a quick hiatus (from the blog – not intentional) but I’m back like I never left. Daily TM bloging resumes as of NOW. I’ve been ridiculously on my grind taking no days off. I’ve been working on new art pieces non-stop. Got a few surprises but you’ll have to wait. I’m not even going to say any more about that. Artismyhustle.com is 90% done. I’ll show you a preview on my next post. Now, let me talk about these ‘Art Is My Hustle’ jumpers that is getting a lot of HYPE at the minute. The emails haven’t stop coming. I’m getting emails about the jumper at least every other day. I CAN CONFIRM THAT THEY WILL BE AVAILABLE TO BUY SOMETIME THIS MONTH. Unfortunately (whether its taken in a good or bad way) there are ONLY150 pieces. For this item there are no pre-orders but emails will be sent out before the day of release. More info coming soon. There will also be a TM tee dropping pretty soon. Not sure which one but keep ur eyes peeled. Think I’ve done enough talking for the day. I don’t really like saying much. I let my actions do all the talking.
