Daydreaming Pt.1
May 11th, 2007

Fuck me. I had to post this immediately. A new mag called Daydream had their launch at the m&c Saatchi gallery in Soho. No word of a lie, it was the best fucking show that I’ve attended in London. Hugo and his team did an amazing job in setting up this event. It had the right crowd, vibes, and music and of cause represented over 70 creative brains from across the global network.
Daydream magazine is rapidly taking over the globe in order to showcase raw talent. Success is not their destiny because they are already there. WHAT AN INSPIRATION
BIG UP TO DAYDREAM MAG (HUGO TOLAND & AVUE DARIEN-GORDON)

T.Magic: Quote Of The Week pt.4
May 10th, 2007

Wats up. Been gone a few days. Getting a lot of TM stuff organised. I have quite abit of things (that i've come across over the last few days) to post. This weeks quote comes from a conversation I had a few days ago. Just talking about life and working your arse off for the government. Being sucked into the 'Working System' aka 9-5 aka The Matrix. And doing work that does not fulfil your passion.

Creative Minds
May 3rd, 2007

Last Friday Orlando had kindly set up a meeting for us @ Weiden + Kennedy. Now for those of you who do not know who wk is log on to wklondon.com and do your research IMEDIATELY. All I need to say is one word: NIKE. Now allow me to proceed for the people who do. We had a meeting with Tony Davidson (who is the creative director of W+K London) He gave us so much creative ideas on how to market T.Magic and really gain attention from the public. Boy, I thought that we had done a good job on that side of things but then it really dawned on me that there is sooooooo much more that we can be doing. Thanks for the meeting Tony. It really opened our eyes. Check out the exclusive pics that I took while inside wk.
Complex Simplicity
May 2nd, 2007

Saw this the other day while I was on my way to a meeting @ Wieden + Kennedy. I think its a fantastic piece of Art. Now I know there are some of you out there that might be thinking "why post such a thing" or "I don't understand" so i'll explain. As an artist I pretty much draw inspiration and ideas from anything around me. So whever it's me looking @ a flower or even the way the clouds are constructed, my ideas never stop flowing.
In college I was asked to decribe what Art is, and my answer was Life. Everything around us is Art. "IN ART WE TRUST"

Soho Exhibition
May 1st, 2007

Last week, as I was strolling on my way to Slammin Kicks I stumbled upon a very interesting store front. A man wrapped in a black bin bag. I was very much intrigued, which left me no other option than to walk into the store. As I walked in there were random pieces of Art exhibited in an unusaual and informal way. The store looked empty so I shouted "HELLOOOOO" and a head pops out of the corner. I then proceeded to ask questions about the exhibition and the philosophy behind it. The guy didnt give me much info which I thought was strange(but didnt know if it was intentional), so I was left to my own interpretation. On the right of me were grungy stairs and above it had a neon light that displayed 'The Dungeon' that had an arrow pointing downwards. BOOOOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY what more can I say. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
